Surgical stapler
A surgical stapler places rows of staples to join or close tissue, often cutting between the rows at the same time. Staplers and related clip appliers and trocars are used in open and laparoscopic gastrointestinal, thoracic, bariatric and colorectal surgery.
Common types
- Linear cutter: places staple rows and cuts between them, used for bowel and lung resections.
- Circular stapler: joins two tubular structures end to end, for example in colorectal anastomosis.
- Endoscopic stapler: long shaft articulating device used through a trocar in laparoscopic surgery.
- Skin stapler: closes skin wounds quickly with removable staples.
- Clip appliers and trocars: titanium or polymer ligation clips and access ports for laparoscopy.

Documents to ask for
Buyers ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or the destination country's registration, ISO 13485 for the maker, ISO 11135 or ISO 11137 sterilisation validation, and ISO 10993 biocompatibility data for the staple material.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Can reloads from one maker be used in another maker's handle?
Generally no. Reloads are designed for a specific handle system, so the quotation should confirm that handles and reloads come from the same system.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
