Check a certificate of analysis before you buy

Every batch of an API or excipient arrives with a certificate of analysis, and someone has to decide whether it supports the purchase or the release. Reading it properly against the specification takes time most teams do not have, so most certificates get a glance.

The PharmaTrust COA Validator reads the certificate and lays out the findings against the applicable specification: each parameter, its limit, the result on the certificate and the source behind each finding. Where the document cannot support a conclusion, the report says so instead of guessing.

What the report looks at

• The material, the batch and the issuer named on the certificate.
• Each test parameter against its limit in the applicable specification.
• The methods referenced for each test.
• Dates: manufacture, retest or expiry.
• Signatures and internal consistency.
• Open items: the points to put to the supplier before you commit.

Two kinds of report

An Automated Analysis is produced by the software as soon as the certificate is read. An Expert-Reviewed Analysis can be requested afterwards: a specialist reviews the certificate and signs the report.

How to start

1. Open an account on pharmatrust.tech. Plans and pricing are listed there.
2. Upload the certificate as a PDF or a scan.
3. Read the report and send the open items to your supplier.

Certificates you upload are never shared with another customer. What you send NJMC stays between you and NJMC, as set out in due diligence and confidentiality.

When the paperwork is not enough

The certificate check reads the document. If you also want the factory and the goods examined in China before shipment, that is a separate NJMC service: independent verification.
