Coronary and vascular stent

Stents are expandable mesh tubes placed inside arteries to keep them open, and stent grafts line diseased vessel walls. This group also covers heart valves and occluders, used in cardiology, vascular surgery and interventional radiology.

Common types

  • Drug-eluting coronary stent: releases a drug from a coating to reduce re-narrowing of the artery.
  • Bare metal stent: an uncoated metal stent for coronary or peripheral use.
  • Peripheral and self-expanding stents: for iliac, femoral, carotid and other arteries.
  • Stent grafts: covered stents for aortic aneurysms and vessel repair.
  • Heart valves and occluders: mechanical, biological and transcatheter valves, and septal or appendage occluders.

Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.

Why does remaining shelf life matter for stents?

Drug-eluting stents have a limited shelf life, and hospitals cannot use expired stock. Ask for a minimum remaining shelf life on delivery in the quotation request.
