Surgical microscope
A surgical microscope gives a magnified, illuminated, three-dimensional view of the operating field. It is used in neurosurgery, spine, ENT, ophthalmology, dentistry, plastic and reconstructive surgery, where fine structures need precise work.
Common types
- Neurosurgery and spine microscope: floor or ceiling stand with long working distance and high-end optics.
- Ophthalmic microscope: coaxial illumination and foot control designed for eye surgery.
- ENT microscope: compact stand for ear, nose and throat procedures.
- Dental microscope: smaller unit for endodontics and restorative dentistry.
- Surgical loupes and exoscopes: head-worn magnifiers, and camera-based systems that show the field on a screen.
What to tell us when you ask for a quotation
- Specialty and stand type (floor, ceiling or wall)
- Magnification range, zoom type (manual or motorised) and working distance
- Light source (LED, halogen or xenon) and fluorescence modules if needed
- Assistant observer tube and number of eyepieces
- Video camera, recording and monitor integration
- Power supply voltage, frequency and plug type
- Quantity, destination country and the delivery terms you want (for example EXW, FOB or CIF).
Documents to ask for
Buyers typically ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or the destination country's registration, ISO 13485 for the maker, and test reports to IEC 60601-1 for the electrical system.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Is a neurosurgery microscope suitable for ENT or dental work?
It can be used, but it is larger and more costly than needed. Microscopes are built around the working distance, magnification and stand size of each specialty, so state the main use in the request.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
