Micropipette
A micropipette measures and transfers small, precise volumes of liquid, usually in microlitres. Laboratories in hospitals, research centres, universities and quality control facilities use them daily for sample and reagent handling.
Common types
- Fixed volume pipette: delivers one set volume.
- Adjustable single channel pipette: covers a volume range set by the user.
- Multichannel pipette: 8 or 12 channels for microplate work.
- Electronic pipette: motor driven with programmable modes.
- Pipette controller: used with serological pipettes for larger volumes.
What to tell us when you ask for a quotation
- Volume ranges needed, such as 0.5 to 10, 10 to 100 and 100 to 1000 microlitres
- Single or multichannel, and channel count
- Manual or electronic
- Tip compatibility and tip types
- Autoclavable parts and calibration certificate
- Pipette stand or carousel
- Quantity, destination country and the delivery terms you want (for example EXW, FOB or CIF).
Documents to ask for
Buyers usually ask for calibration certificates and conformity to ISO 8655, plus CE marking and ISO 13485 for the maker when sold as an IVD device.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
How often should a micropipette be calibrated?
Many laboratories check calibration every three to twelve months, depending on use and accreditation requirements. ISO 8655 describes the gravimetric method commonly used.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
