Laboratory microscope
A laboratory microscope magnifies specimens such as blood smears, tissue sections and cultures for examination. Hospital laboratories, pathology departments, clinics, universities and research facilities use them for diagnosis, teaching and research.
Common types
- Biological microscope: upright, with brightfield illumination for routine slides.
- Fluorescence microscope: uses filtered light sources to view fluorescent stains.
- Inverted microscope: views cells from below, used for cell culture and IVF.
- Stereo microscope: gives a three dimensional view at low magnification.
- Digital slide scanner: scans whole slides for viewing on screen.

Documents to ask for
Buyers usually ask for CE marking where the microscope is sold for medical or IVD use, ISO 13485 for the maker and IEC 61010-1 test reports for the electrical parts.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Do we need a trinocular head?
A trinocular head has a third port for a camera, so images can be captured or shown on a screen. It is useful for teaching, documentation and telepathology.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
