Immunoassay analyser
An immunoassay analyser uses antibody based reactions to measure hormones, cardiac markers, tumour markers, infectious disease markers and other proteins in serum or plasma. It is used in hospital laboratories, reference labs and blood banks.
Common types
- Chemiluminescence analyser: detects light emitted by the reaction and is common for high volume hormone and marker testing.
- Electrochemiluminescence analyser: triggers light emission electrically for sensitive detection.
- Fluorescence immunoassay analyser: often a compact unit used with single test cartridges.
- ELISA based system: uses microplates with a separate reader and washer, or an automated ELISA processor.
- Integrated immunoassay module: attaches to a chemistry analyser to share sample handling.
What to tell us when you ask for a quotation
- Required test menu and whether reagents are available for every test
- Throughput in tests per hour and time to first result
- Closed or open reagent system and reagent on-board stability
- Sample capacity, STAT priority and sample tube types
- Consumables needed, such as cuvettes, tips and wash solutions
- LIS connection, power supply, plug type and water needs
- Quantity, destination country and the delivery terms you want (for example EXW, FOB or CIF).
Documents to ask for
Buyers typically ask for CE marking under the EU IVDR or local IVD registration for both the analyser and each reagent, ISO 13485 for the maker, and IEC 61010-1 and IEC 61010-2-101 test reports.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Are the reagents registered separately from the analyser?
In most markets each reagent kit is a separate IVD product with its own registration or CE marking. A buyer should check that every test on the planned menu is registered in the destination country, not only the instrument.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
