Laboratory freezer
Laboratory freezers and refrigerators store samples, reagents, vaccines, plasma and medicines at controlled low temperatures. Hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, blood banks and research facilities rely on them to keep stored material within the required range.
Common types
- Ultra low temperature freezer: holds around minus 80 degrees Celsius for long term sample storage.
- Minus 20 to minus 40 degree freezer: used for reagents and plasma.
- Pharmacy and medical refrigerator: holds 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for medicines.
- Vaccine refrigerator: includes ice lined or solar powered models for unstable power supplies.
- Blood bank refrigerator: stores blood units at a controlled temperature with alarms.

Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
What does climate class mean for a freezer?
Climate class states the ambient temperature range in which the unit can hold its set temperature. In hot regions a buyer should request a class rated for high ambient temperatures.
