Haemodialysis machine
A haemodialysis machine pumps the patient's blood through a dialyser and controls the dialysis fluid to remove waste and excess water when the kidneys fail. It is used in dialysis centres and hospital renal units, and continuous models are used in intensive care.
Common types
- Standard haemodialysis machine: for intermittent sessions in a dialysis centre.
- Haemodiafiltration machine: adds online production of substitution fluid for convective clearance.
- CRRT machine: runs continuously in intensive care for patients too unstable for intermittent dialysis.
- Plasma exchange and haemoperfusion system: separates plasma or passes blood through an adsorption cartridge.
What to tell us when you ask for a quotation
- Therapy modes required (HD, HDF, HF, isolated UF, CRRT modes)
- Blood pump flow range, dialysate flow range and ultrafiltration accuracy
- Built-in monitoring: blood pressure module, blood volume or clearance monitoring
- Concentrate type (liquid or powder cartridge) and disinfection programmes
- Water treatment plant compatibility, voltage and plug type
- Compatible dialysers and bloodlines, and whether they are available locally
- Quantity, destination country and the delivery terms you want (for example EXW, FOB or CIF).
Documents to ask for
Buyers usually ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or local registration, ISO 13485 for the maker, and IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-2-16 test reports; the water supply is usually checked against ISO 23500.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
What else do we need besides the machines to start a dialysis unit?
A dialysis unit needs a water treatment system that produces dialysis-quality water, dialysis chairs or beds, and a steady supply of dialysers, bloodlines, needles and concentrate. Trained staff and a service plan for the machines are also needed.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
