Suction unit
A suction unit creates vacuum to remove secretions, blood and fluids from the airway, mouth or surgical field. It is used in operating theatres, intensive care, wards, emergency rooms, ambulances, dental clinics and home care.
Common types
- Electric mobile suction: a trolley-mounted pump with collection jars for theatres and wards.
- Portable battery suction: a compact unit for ambulances and emergency use.
- Manual suction: hand or foot operated, needing no power.
- Wall suction regulator: connects to the hospital vacuum pipeline with a collection jar.
- Low-flow drainage suction: continuous gentle vacuum for chest or wound drainage.

Documents to ask for
Buyers typically ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or the destination country's registration, ISO 13485 for the maker, IEC 60601-1 test reports, and the relevant part of ISO 10079 for medical suction equipment.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Is high-flow suction needed for every area?
Theatres and airway clearance in emergencies need high vacuum and flow, while drainage applications need low, controlled vacuum. Stating the intended area helps the maker offer the right unit.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
