High-flow oxygen therapy device
A high-flow oxygen therapy device delivers heated and humidified oxygen and air at high flow rates through a wide nasal cannula. It is used in intensive care, emergency departments, respiratory wards and neonatal units for patients needing oxygen support beyond standard masks.
Common types
- Integrated high-flow unit: built-in flow generator, oxygen blender and humidifier in one device.
- Humidifier with external blender: a heated humidifier chamber fed by a separate air and oxygen blender.
- Neonatal and paediatric systems: lower flow ranges and small cannula sizes.
- Consumables: heated breathing tubes, humidification chambers and high-flow nasal cannulae.
What to tell us when you ask for a quotation
- Flow range in litres per minute and oxygen concentration range
- Humidifier temperature settings and water feed method
- Patient range and cannula sizes from neonate to adult
- Gas source: wall oxygen only, or oxygen and medical air
- Consumables per patient and starter quantities
- Power supply voltage and plug type
- Quantity, destination country and the delivery terms you want (for example EXW, FOB or CIF).
Documents to ask for
Buyers usually ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or the destination country's registration, ISO 13485 for the maker, and test reports to IEC 60601-1 and ISO 80601-2-90 for high-flow respiratory therapy equipment.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Are the cannulae and tubes reusable?
Patient circuits, chambers and cannulae are normally single-patient use. Include their price and pack quantities in the request, as they decide the cost per patient.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
