Nebuliser
A nebuliser turns liquid medication into a fine aerosol that the patient breathes in through a mouthpiece or mask. It is used in hospitals, emergency departments, clinics and at home for asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions.
Common types
- Compressor (jet) nebuliser: an air compressor drives aerosol through a cup, simple and low cost.
- Mesh nebuliser: a vibrating mesh creates aerosol, quiet and often battery powered.
- Ultrasonic nebuliser: a vibrating crystal creates aerosol, used for larger volumes.
- In-line nebuliser: fits into ventilator circuits for patients on mechanical ventilation.
- Nebuliser kits: medication cups, masks and mouthpieces sold as consumables.
What to tell us when you ask for a quotation
- Nebuliser type and intended use (home, hospital, ventilator circuit)
- Particle size range (MMAD), output rate and residual volume
- Noise level and battery operation
- Accessories: adult and paediatric masks, mouthpiece, tubing, spare kits
- Language of packaging and manual
- Power supply voltage and plug type
- Quantity, destination country and the delivery terms you want (for example EXW, FOB or CIF).
Documents to ask for
Buyers usually ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or the destination country's registration, ISO 13485 for the maker, IEC 60601-1 test reports for electrical units, and conformity to ISO 27427 for nebulising systems.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
What does particle size mean for a nebuliser?
The aerosol particle size, often stated as mass median aerodynamic diameter, affects where in the airways the medication is deposited. Ask for the measured value and the test method in the technical file.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
