Oxygen mask and nasal cannula
Oxygen masks and nasal cannulae are single-use interfaces that deliver oxygen from a supply to the patient. They are used across hospital wards, emergency departments, ambulances, recovery rooms and home oxygen therapy.
Common types
- Nasal cannula: two short prongs in the nostrils for low-flow oxygen.
- Simple face mask: covers nose and mouth for moderate flow.
- Non-rebreather mask: has a reservoir bag and valves for higher oxygen concentrations.
- Venturi mask: colour-coded adapters deliver set oxygen percentages.
- Nebuliser mask: combines a mask with a medication cup for aerosol therapy.

Documents to ask for
Buyers typically ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or the destination country's registration, ISO 13485 for the maker, and ISO 10993 biocompatibility data. Sterile items need ISO 11135 or ISO 11137 sterilisation validation.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Do oxygen masks need to be sterile?
Most oxygen masks and cannulae are supplied clean but non-sterile, which many hospitals accept. If your tender requires sterile items, state it, as it changes the packaging and price.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
