Dialyser and dialysis consumables
Dialysers and dialysis consumables are the single-use or reprocessable items needed for each dialysis session: the filter, bloodlines, fistula needles and concentrates. They are used in dialysis centres and hospital renal units alongside the haemodialysis machines.
Common types
- Low-flux dialyser: a hollow fibre filter with smaller pores for standard haemodialysis.
- High-flux dialyser: larger pores that also remove larger molecules, used for high-flux HD and HDF.
- Bloodline set: arterial and venous tubing with drip chambers, matched to the machine model.
- AV fistula needle: a winged needle for accessing the patient's fistula or graft.
- Dialysis concentrate: acid liquid concentrate and bicarbonate powder cartridges or bags.
What to tell us when you ask for a quotation
- Dialyser membrane material, surface area and flux type
- Sterilisation method of the dialyser (gamma, steam or ethylene oxide)
- Bloodline compatibility with the exact machine model in use
- Fistula needle gauge, length and safety feature
- Concentrate formula (potassium, calcium and bicarbonate levels) and pack format
- Monthly quantities per session type and shelf life
- Quantity, destination country and the delivery terms you want (for example EXW, FOB or CIF).
Documents to ask for
Buyers usually ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or local registration, ISO 13485 for the maker, ISO 8637 for dialysers and blood circuits, ISO 23500 for concentrates, and sterilisation validation.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Can we use bloodlines from another maker on our machines?
Only if the bloodline is designed for that machine model. Pump segments, pressure monitoring lines and clamps must fit the machine, so buyers should give the machine model and ask for a compatibility statement.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
