Common types
- Desktop spirometer: standalone unit with printer for clinics.
- PC based spirometer: a sensor connected to a computer with analysis software.
- Handheld spirometer: small unit for screening and home use.
- Peak flow meter: a simple device measuring peak expiratory flow only.
- Full pulmonary function system: adds lung volume and diffusion tests.

Documents to ask for
Buyers ask for CE marking under the EU MDR or US FDA clearance, ISO 13485 for the maker and test reports to ISO 26782 for spirometers. Compliance with ATS and ERS spirometry standards is commonly requested.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
Do we need a calibration syringe?
Most spirometers need daily calibration checks with a 3 litre syringe to meet ATS and ERS quality standards. Ask whether one is included or must be ordered separately.
Send us the specification and quantity. We compare manufacturers in China and reply with options, lead times and the documents that come with each product. NJMC sources and checks; it does not manufacture.
