Documents to ask for
Buyers ask for compliance with pharmacopoeia standards such as USP <660> or Ph. Eur. 3.2.1 for glass and Ph. Eur. 3.2.9 for rubber closures, a certificate of analysis per batch, ISO 15378 for the maker and, where relevant, a US Drug Master File reference. Elastomeric closures are tested to USP <381>.
Certificates and registrations belong to the product and its manufacturer. We check them with you against the rules of your market before any order.
What is Type I glass and when is it needed?
Type I is borosilicate glass with high chemical resistance. It is usually required for injectables and other products sensitive to interaction with the container.
